I am very excited for our new adventure and ministry to start and I cannot wait BUT I am also terrified. We are starting over in a new place where we know no one. Having said that though, there is something so thrilling about "pioneering" and being His hands extended. One of the biggest changes for us besides the weather is going to be the flat,flat landscape. Living in East Tennessee we are surrounded by gorgeous mountains, breathtaking waterfalls, and picturesque views. So we are spending just as much time outside, hiking this "winter" and making memories and taking an absurd amount of pictures before we are surrounded by miles and miles of flat beautiful corn fields and amazing lakes. We are looking at Aurora a suburb of Chicago and still praying for God to lead us to the perfect place. We of course have our eye on a few apartments and houses but we will see what the next 8 weeks hold.
